I'm very proud of this piece, it took a lot of work and tweaking and developing of skills I hadn't worked with much. I hope everyone enjoys viewing it as much as I enjoyed creating it! Original size 3000x3000 File size 350 Mb I'll also make a couple different wall paper sizes once I have the time. Comments
Very well done.
One thing I did notice however, was the lens flare created by the center star. It seems to be "choppy", or it's not smoothed out enough I guess. That may be intended, but it's something that stood out to me. -- "Diplomacy is the ability to tell a person to go to hell in such a way that he looks forward to the trip." "God is playing a comic to an audience that's afraid to laugh."Voltaire Thank you for the comment!
Yeah, the flare area right around the star is a little choppier than I probably would have liked, I think I just ended up getting used to it being that way, may try to go back and smooth it out at some point. Thanks for pointing that out. -- Member of =Space-Club Very amazing work as always. (You always come up with something to impress me.)
-- "Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards." - Fred Hoyle Member of the ~artsolid-science Club Uh... wow. Your attention to detail on this thing is amazing. Did you use any particular planet photos for inspiration, or did you go completely on your own with them? The light effects are well done, except for the jagged center flare someone else already pointed out, and I'm just not skilled enough with digital media to give any decent advice on it.
It IS huge, though. The details are great, but it takes away from it when you have to scroll all over to see it. |
